Stop Bonus Abuse

Filed Under (affiliate marketing, internet marketing) by Chris Morris on 01-10-2008

I can’t stress this enough. How many times have you seen bonus abuse?
I’m talking about gurus or wannabe gurus using bonuses as a way to almost
force you into buying their product.

Look…

The way I see it, we already have enough on our plates in this day and age.
For those of us who are trying to make a living online, I believe this bonus
abuse is hurting the customer more than helping and that is a crime in itself.

Isn’t it our job as sellers to help solve problems?

Then why are we creating more problems instead of helping our customers
get more out of our product or service rather than clutter their hard drives
with more “stuff” that they’re likely never going to use just to entice a sale?

I’m not saying a bonus is bad. It’s just being abused. If your product is “great”
to begin with then all these so called “bonuses” are not necessary. A bonus is
supposed to be a compliment to the original product / service and not a means
to make the user feel forced into buying for fear of losing out on both.

I see this a lot recently both in internet marketing and affiliate marketing where
bonuses are being inflated and stacked to record numbers just to entice a sale.
Well I am sick of it. Stop bonus abuse. It’s not necessary. If you offer a great value
to your customers and help them get what you promised out of your product or
service then you have already given them the “BEST” bonus of all.

Let me know what YOU think about it.

Chris

Mike Filsaime Traffic Fusion Update

Filed Under (hyperjava plugin, mike filsaime, traffic fusion) by Chris Morris on 07-09-2008

Today I received an update to Mike Filsaime’s Traffic Fusion system.

Using the HyperJava Plugin system you are able to create dynamic ads that affiliates will be able to put on their pages such as their thank you pages. You can choose to use one of the many built in payment processors to sell a product in the ad straight through places like Paypal, PayDotCom and Clickbank and even give the affiliate a portion of the sale.

The Traffic Fusion system has a fully WYSIWYG editor. You can add full html including pictures, video, text, etc. there is virtually no limit to what you can do with the HyperJava Plugin system. There are “smart” tags that are available to use in your advertisments so that you can have effects like ads that have the affiliate’s name in the ad, or a countdown timer for a urgency offer.

The HyperJava Plugin gives you a couple choices in delivery of your ads, one is you can use a standard html link to deliver with your autoresponders. But the really cool feature is using a piece of JavaScript code that you simply insert or have your affiliates insert into their pages and the ads will display and update dynamically without any further interaction needed from the affiliate.

Using the Traffic Fusion HyperJava system, you can even create dynamic “Thank You” pages where after a person buys widget x, they will see your custom thank you page. This feature again has a full WYSIWYG html editor. You can use anything that you’d typically find on a thank you page including using another members HyperJava Ads.

This keeps getting better and better!

Traffic Fusion Review Stole My Ranking

Filed Under (traffic fusion) by Chris Morris on 02-09-2008

For a few days now, I have had and held the number one spots in Google for the search term Traffic Fusion. I had actually stolen the number one spot for the term with only one blog post taking out the original guy who held number one and shooting him straight to number 2 position.

Google is pretty unpredictable I can see, my original post for Traffic Fusion is not even in the search engine results any longer and the guy who took my spot has been very busy trying to get all my sites reported as spam in the search engines. This is pretty cut throat guys. :)

I’m not worried, this is actually my Traffic Fusion Experiment and I am going to be making continuous updates right up until launch to see what kind of results I can achieve from this affiliate promotion and not spend one cent on advertising. This will be just natural posts / comments on blogs and links back to my posts to try and boost the positioning of my natural search results.

So far there hasn’t been any new news about Mike Filsaime’s Traffic Fusion Launch. I actually expected to hear something today when I woke up from email but so far there is nothing. He’s stated in previous video to his select JV partners that some prelaunch news would likely come out around September 2nd ( Today ) so perhaps tonight or tomorrow we should hear something new.

I’m actually very excited about this launch personally, I was in the original Butterfly Marketing crowd and got to know a lot of Mike Filsaime’s Butterflies over the years. It’s really been a great ride in my life and I’ve enjoyed a great life thus far as a result of the Butterfly Marketing Course.

I’ve been to a couple seminars where I met with Mike Filsaime personally and met a lot of other big ticket marketers but more important than that is the actual friendships and relationships that I’ve formed over the years with everyone. This is why I’m most excited!

Keep checking back here for more Traffic Fusion Information, I will post anything new as I get it!

Traffic Fusion Information

Filed Under (affiliate marketing, internet marketing, traffic, traffic fusion) by Chris Morris on 31-08-2008

Traffic Fusion is a combination of Mike Filsaime’s HyperJava Plugin and his Butterfly Marketing 2.0 script. You may know of this script from his 7 Figure Secrets launch with the one click upsell and forced continuity additions.

Also said to be included in the Traffic Fusion download is a home study course by Mark Joyner. Mike Filsaime and Joyner are great friends and is rumored to have included a special course in addition to the Traffic Fusion software.

Traffic Fusion was unveiled at the Gateway to Wealth event held by Gary Ambrose and Keith Wellman where Mike Filsaime appeared as a surprise guest. The HyperJava plugin was also sold for a very limited time before being retired until this launch for Traffic Fusion.

Mike Filsaime is trying to keep a tight lid on the details of this launch and has personally hand picked a select amount of Joint Venture Partners as this will be a very limited launch.

Only 2000 people will ever have access to Traffic Fusion software. This is a licensed product that will come with an initial cost and then a monthy recurring for those who wish to continue to use it.

Screencast Profits Review

Filed Under (lon naylor, screencast profits) by Chris Morris on 04-08-2008

With the proliferation of web videos, it would appear that many have no shame producing and distributing crappy videos.  While if this is a video of your dog Charlie catching a frisbee while jumping off the dock at the lake, that is one thing.

But if this video is a business video that is promoting, demonstrating, or giving a tutorial on how to use your product that is entirely a different matter.  From the viewers prospective if you don’t care about using a crappy demonstration video why would your attitude when you created your product or service be any different.  If you as a business are providing a quality product or service then tell the world about it in with videos but do it right.  By just implementing a few production details, you too can create high quality web videos.

There is a man from Wisconsin, a former Microsoft Techie, who has begun a crusade to rid the web of crappy videos.  Lon Naylor shows you (with videos of course) exactly what you need to do in order to create videos that will make your business product or service shine.  In a step by step system he calls Ace the Audio he shows you the techniques that can turn a bumbling and stumbling video narration into something that sounds like it was recorded at a production studio.  In this twelve part module, Lon breaks it down into simple lessons, skillfully demonstrated in video form, exactly how to produce a studio quality narration for your videos. Did I mention for a limited time, Lon is giving you access to this video completely free! - Click Here for Details http://www.screencastprofits.com

In the members area of his site Lon takes you through a total of nine different modules each done in the same format as Ace the Audio.  Starting with a fantastic video overview tutorial, Lon takes you step by step with modules like Video Strategies, Creating Killer Screencast Videos,  Planning and Preparing Your Video, Recording Your Videos, Editing Your Videos, as well as a Module on Video Production.  Before you put another crappy video up you owe it to your business to discover how with a few simple techniques you can make your videos look like high quality video productions.  Your business’s image is at stake learn how simple it is to project a video image that matches the high quality of your business’s products and services.

5 Super Ninja Traffic Tactics

Filed Under (traffic) by Chris Morris on 14-07-2008

Hey guys,

========================================================

***WARNING***

Use of the information below can be fatal to your server! ;-)

========================================================

Do you have plenty of traffic to your websites? If not, keep reading…

Targeted traffic is the life-blood of every internet business yet most people are struggling with getting it and more importantly, what to do with it once you have it.

There are many different ways to get traffic and I’m going to share with you some examples here shortly, but for now, I want you to know that it is not enough to just get the traffic, you have to also convert that traffic into buyers or get the visitors to identify themselves immediately or you may lose them forever.

Let’s go over some quick ways to get traffic to your websites, some of these are f.ree and some are paid options. If you don’t have a lot of cash, test out the f.ree alternatives and then move on to the paid ones once you’ve got some cash coming in.

I recommend that you use both the f.ree and paid in conjunction with each other for the best results.

Let’s get started…

Here is my list of some F.ree traffic resources:

1. Social Bookmarking

2. MySpace

3. Squidoo

4. Hubpages

5. Video Submission

Social bookmarking is basically web 2.0 and allows you to tag / share your favorite sites and stories and easily share them online with friends.

These types of sites are user rated content and your content needs to be top notch or you can expect not to get much traffic if any. You also do not want to use spammy techniques or seem like you’re spamming or you could find yourself banned by the community and lose your account.

Here is a list of some of the Social Bookmarking websites that I use to help drive traffic to my pages:

Del.icio.us
Bibsonomy.org
BMAccess.net
Faves.com
GetBoo.com
LinkAGoGo.com
Mister-Wong.com
SPUrl.com
Taggly.com
SpotBack.com
NetVouz.com
NetRocket.com
Simpy.com

These are just some of the F.ree Social Bookmarking services that I use to help drive traffic to my websites. Keep in mind that you can find and post to these services and more f.ree and reap the rewards for your hard work, I found a paid solution that will make bookmarking a breeze and save you a ton of time in the process.

It’s a ninja tool that I now use and it has saved me a TON of time and I still get the benefit of the traffic without all the manual work, and you can visit them below:

==> http://discovercpanel.com/tools/Bookmark

Now let’s talk about MySpace. MySpace is another great resource for you if you’re looking for traffic, but you have to know how to use MySpace just like in the Social Bookmarking example because people can spot spammers and advertising a mile away.

MySpace is a place where people can share their photos, music, blogs, and email other MySpace members very easily. It also has a great “Groups” feature that allows you to fine tune your efforts to a specific niche market.

So for example, one great way to use MySpace to generate traffic is to find MySpace “Groups” that are in your specific niche. Let’s say you’re in the dog training niche, you would go to the “Groups” section and you can actually search for groups by category or by keywords that relate to your target niche.

Just today, I went to the Pets & Animals category and I found a whopping 42104 groups that are ripe for the picking. Can you imagine if registered at one of those groups and became active and respected as an authority on the topic how much traffic you could reap from just one of those groups?

Now imagine if you set up multiple accounts and posted to them regularly and became a person whom they looked up to for answers or as an authority, the kind of power that could hold as far as getting traffic back to your website?

I would even set up muliple accounts and then hire someone from elance or a similar site to post on your behalf and leave relevant posts and content behind and then you can quickly build up rapport in the groups with minimal effort on your part and begin driving traffic back to your website.

You can use the same technique with forums as well, forum signatures are another great way to get targeted traffic to your websites. Go to a site like http://www.big-boards.com/ and you can search for forums in any niche by keywords. You can find tons of boards to join and begin using the same techniques in MySpace to quickly get hundreds of posts across multiple boards and set up a forum signature that links back to your site.

Google loves forums and they are treated as authority websites. Posts are indexed and when someone searches for a particular keyword in the search engines, you will be surprised when a lot of them are coming up from forum posts and when someone clicks through to the forum, guess what they will eventually run into?

Your forum signature :-)

Let’s talk about Squidoo for a second, I know Squidoo got hit with the Google Slap a while back but interesting enough, it didn’t do much damage to the lenses with great content. Much of the Google Slap was probably triggered by the amount of spammy lenses that seemed to be hitting Squidoo daily.

Again, the rule here is that you need GREAT content and you need to know what you can do to increase your chances of your lens not only getting indexed, but getting top positions in the search engines for the right keywords that will help make you money.

If you want an excellent course on Squidoo Secrets that you can use to build top quality lenses and join the top ranks for your chosen keywords, I highly recommend that you check out:

==> http://discovercpanel.com/tools/SquidooSecretsVip

I suggest that if you’re going to invest in this course, that you pick up the Super Kraken Course which is packed with Squidoo And Internet Marketing Strategies and Training!

HubPages is another site I use frequently to get top search engine rankings for keyword that I want to dominate for, there is another site called Propeller that I will also use to make sure I hit the top spots for my keywords and dominate in Google.

I especially like using these sites in conjunction with one another when I get advanced notice on a huge launch that will be coming up, not only for my sites but you can use this for affiliate marketing too guys. :-) The more of these resources that you use…the better!

Sites like HubPages and Propeller rank user content and allow you to get an insane amount of f.ree targeted traffic if you can deliver killer content. What I do to give myself the extra boost is to create other accounts on the sites and then vote on my own content.

You can also ask or even ethically bribe your visitors to rate your pages to help boost the posts and further drive your ranking up in the engines.

Here is one of my favorite traffic resources…Video Submission! I absolutely LOVE video, I just wish I could find the time to do a lot of it ;-) It’s pretty tough to do a video with your kids screaming in the house, but for those of you who are able to create video, there are a ton of f.ree video submission services that you can use to drive a crazy amount of f.ree traffic to your websites instantly.

Here is a list of some of the video services that I use:

1. Dailymotion.com
2. Eyespot.com
3. Motionbox.com
4. Putfile.com
5. Spike.com
6. Veoh.com
7. Viddler.com
8. Video.google.com
9. Video.yahoo.com
10 YouTube.com

There are a ton of these f.ree video submission services out there, I could spend hours if I went out looking for them all, luckily you can use these sites above and post your videos to them and get massive exposure from each on of them.

Don’t create videos that are crappy and spammy, those never get much traffic if any, instead, create fun and useful videos that get people interested in what you have to say and put a link in your profile and description of your video and even link in your video for them to follow once they view your video.

I have yet another ninja tool that I use to automate that tedious task of manually uploading all of my videos and making sure that my videos hit top positions in the engines and you can find out more about that below:

==> http://discovercpanel.com/tools/VideoTraffic

That’s a lot of really killer traffic sources that I just handed you, take them step by step and implement each one carefully and then move on to the next. Don’t rush it, take your time and put in a lot of hard work and effort and you will surely see a flood of traffic and hopefully conversion to your offers!

Take Care,

Chris Morris

p.s. Don’t tell anyone that I gave you this information, I can’t be held responsible for the massive surge of traffic your server will receive.

What Can I Teach You?

Filed Under (affiliate marketing, internet marketing) by Chris Morris on 24-06-2008

One thing that I truly enjoy is helping other people move forward, whether in business or life in general, I really feel great about helping other people. I have had the privilege of seeing the power of influence first hand and I am going to ask you specifically…What can I teach you?

I was going to do a survey for this, but surveys can be kind of boring, plus, I love being in the mix of things and really interacting with everyone so I am not sending out a survey, instead, you’re going to be interacting with me and the rest of the group here on the blog.

The idea here is to let us know what you’re struggling with and where you’re at in terms of a business or website online. I’d like to know because I don’t do any type of coaching..at least not right now, and I’d like to get my feet wet and at the same time continue making money doing what I love to do.

So here’s the deal, let me know what I can teach you or what you need help with, and I will do my best to give you ideas and direction you could take to keep moving forward. It doesn’t have to be about internet marketing or affiliate marketing, it can be anything, just don’t be afraid to ask questions.

Sounds Like Fun!

Leave your comments below with what I can do to help you!
