It’s been six days since I made my original post trying to get my bonus idea for Frank Kern’s List Control launch that is coming up on March 15th 2010. What I found days later after posting this was a little humorous because Jeff Johnson made a very similar post on his blog asking for the same advice…coincidence? Probably. But what is more disturbing is this “Guru” bonus war that is going on in our little community as a result of this launch.
Back in October of 2008 I made a blog post about bonus abuse and how the “gurus” are using these crappy, old and most likely outdated products that they bought rights to, had sitting on their hard drives or sold ages ago and they attach an extremely high value on them simply because they can in order to persuade someone to buy this new thing through their affiliate link so they get a huge commission check from the vendor. That article got me in a LOT of hot water with the “gurus” and some of them came rushing in to make posts and others flamed me in private emails. I guess I hit a nerve with them.
But my responsibility is not to them…it’s to you.
And because of that I have decided to make this post public…on my blog…for EVERYONE to see. You deserve to know the truth and see behind the curtain and make the right decision for you when it comes to buying a product for your business. I’m not going to be offering you some old crappy PLR product I bought rights to or give you old outdated products that I created and attach a high value on just to try and convince you that you need to buy Frank Kern List Control through my affiliate link.
Either you want this or you don’t and only you can decide.
I have decided that I am going to keep my bonus ideas for Frank Kern’s List Control secret because I don’t want them getting swiped and stolen from under me. Right now all the “gurus” are scrambling trying to build up an arsenal of crappy outdated products to try and pull a quick one and make their way into your pocket. What’s mind boggling to me is that if they actually cared about their subscribers in the first place…none of this bonus abuse would be happening and they could simply recommend killer products like List Control like I do and not have to try and persuade you to buy with sneaky tactics.
Do you think these guys are even going to actually “BUY” this thing for themselves? Not hardly. This is just money in the bank for them.

Not only am I highly recommending you invest in Frank Kern’s List Control…I have seen the way Frank over delivers and takes care of his customers and I am going to be securing my spot when the doors open up on March 15th. So I not only walk the walk but I put my money where my mouth is…
How many “gurus” actually do that?
None.

Thank you for the knowledge. I am just starting this Internet business and would very much love to have a mentor to guide me through the process. I understand that most newbies fold within the first 120 days. I have been doing this now for 60 and have lots of tutorials, E-books (plr), videos, that I study, have a business plan and will … WILL have a very successful internet business in time. Bonuses are an intersting concept because if done well it is clear that they can add value to both parties but first you have sort through what is actually worthwhile. I’ve actually been working on creating my own bonus package for List Control and have tried to focus on offering the one thing that the “gurus” can’t actually offer. Direct assistance and one on one advice, I don’t expect to be the top affiliate but if everything goes to plan I will be able to offer real value for people that buy through my link at the same time as earning an affiliate commission myself.
